Five good reasons why you should take homeopathy seriously

Homeopathy – it’s here, it heals and helps and it’s not just a ‘placebo’ or an alternative to ‘try’

Homeopathy heals and helps us.  It’s official, it’s scientific and it’s here to stay, if those of us who use it, rely on it and find relief from illness by applying homeopathy have anything to do with it.  If you care about your health at all, it’s time you had something to do with it too.  Here’s some more thought-changing information and facts to help you on the road to bringing homeopathy in your life, mentioning your successes to your doctor or care provider, and helping your family and friends.

1.Electromagnetic fields are real and surround us – homeopathy is electromagnetic in nature, just like us

Dana Ullman writes on the Huffington Post

Dr. Luc Montagnier, the French virologist who won the Nobel Prize in 2008 for discovering the AIDS virus, has surprised the scientific community with his strong support for homeopathic medicine…

Montagnier’s research (and other of many of his colleagues) has verified that electromagnetic signals of the original medicine remains in the water and has dramatic biological effects.  Montagnier’s new research is investigating the electromagnetic waves that he says emanate from the highly diluted DNA of various pathogens.

Montagnier asserts, “What we have found is that DNA produces structural changes in water, which persist at very high dilutions, and which lead to resonant electromagnetic signals that we can measure. … The high-intensity signals come from bacterial and viral DNA.”

Montagnier affirms that these new observations will lead to novel treatments for many common chronic diseases, including but not limited to autism, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and multiple sclerosis.

Our DNA is electromagnetic in nature, so are bacteria and viruses, and homeopathy

See the link below for the full article on the Huffington Post.  The key point here really is that our DNA responds electromagnetically to bacteria and viruses having been present in water (e.g. they have left an electromagnetic trace in water to which our DNA respond to as if they are still there).  So this research leads us to understand that if we have had a bacterial or viral infection, it may have left our bodies (which are comprised of at least 5o% water/fluid) but our DNA responds as if the virus or bacteria is still there.

Homeopathic remedies have long been poo-pooed because the ‘small amount’ or trace element left in a homeopathic tincture has been deemed in the past by the allopathic medical community not to be ‘enough to make a difference’ or ‘just a placebo effect’ because the tincture is transmitted on a sugar pill.  Well, what if the response to homeopathy is electromagnetic in nature?

2.Homeopathic remedies are found in the ‘wisdom archive’ of our own planet and are naturally available and rarely need to be ‘manufactured’

From Arnica Montana (a herb) to Lachesis (the venom of the Bushmaster snake) to Sulphur and so on, homeopathic remedies are naturally occurring resources in nature and can be easily made without adding to the industrial load of our planet.  I believe that we need to tap into the wisdom of the Earth and combine that with our scientifically clever brains to create newer and greater medicines for everybody’s wellbeing.  Homeopathy allows us to do that and still stay ‘green’!

3. It is inexpensive to self-treat for minor ailments and can often save you an insurance co-pay

www.1800homeopathy.comIt might take a little time and a small financial investment to build up a self-help homeopathy kit, still only one element, say for colds or flu, from www.1-800homeopathy.com costs $8.95.  How does that match up with an insurance co-pay for you?

4. Regular treatments from a qualified homeopath can help with many major chronic ongoing ailments such as asthma and eczema

Do you or your children suffer with asthma or eczema?  And how much does that cost you in co-pays, breathing treatments and topical creams?  I suffered with eczema as a child and into my teen years, finishing with a major breakout just before my first wedding.  (That was a sign but more in another post!).  A friend suggested I see a homeopath, and my remedy was Sulphur, plus almond oil for the rash.  I haven’t had eczema since.

Did you know that homeopaths consider asthma and eczema to be linked, and that asthma is the ‘inside’ version of eczema, so that if eczema is not stopped, it may develop into asthma?  Interesting concept. I wonder how many parents reading this will resonate with that thought. Both my children

Hey SM:
I can't figure out how to send you a message privately so I'm doing it on here.
Do you know what remedies might be good for lowering cholesterol?
Thanks:)

N.D.C thank you for your comment and information. That is sad to know that Luc Montagnier is headed to China. The Chinese know energy as I'm sure you're aware, even having 'chi' clinics in their hospitals, so they would want to know more about this, for sure.

IMHO one of the big 'shifts' we are headed towards in 2012 is a change in the way healthcare and medicine operates. It can't come too soon for me.

Let's hope Luc Montagnier continues to contribute at a worldwide level even if he's underwritten by Shanghai University. Gifted scientists like him need global recognition sooner rather than later.

Cheers

Hi Diana

By the way I loved your blog entry about the coldest you've ever been...think I rode that sled with you, it carried me away!

The ABCs isn't mine, but good to see others posting on here about what I consider to be a subject of utmost importance in our futures.

Just got a dog, so like the carbo veg tip. I don't post everything on here because the format isn't always the best...just posted another tip about Arnica on http://www.momonaspiritualjourney.com, and have some interesting video resources regards immunizations on my Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/momonaspiritualjourney

Yes homeopathy is available on the NHS (state healthcare) in the UK but that doesn't stop the House of Lords trying to oust it every 6 years or so according to my UK homeopath.

Also about to write a post about another UK friend who succeed in bringing back normal hearing to her newborn son who had Auditory Neuropathy after being treated with anti-biotics. Part of the treatment plan was homeopathics! I want to post what works and create 'Mom' groups US wide so that we can pressure the medical 'establishment' to start supporting more of what works.

Namaste

Spiritual Mom:
I think you have another post on homeopathy-the ABC's maybe? I haven't gotten to read it yet. Maybe you mention there that homeopathy is MUCH more accepted in UK and Europe than the States. It's been around since the 1700's, right? And didn't it cure TONS of people duirng the Plague?
I remember the day I totally wrecked my hamstring (attempting to run a mile). It seized up like a fist. I limped home and took arnica and within minutes, it relaxed. Awesome! Then about 2 months ago, one of our 13 year old dogs seemed very despondent. Would not get off of her blanky in the morning. Not even to eat!!! I put a couple carbo veg pellets in her mouth and literally, within 60 seconds, she stood up, ate breakfast and stood by the door to go outside.
I can't discount our homeopathy miracles. It works for us:)
Can't wait to get a Robin Murphy Repertory. Have you heard of him, SM?

Homeoquackery...

I think your claim that "no one outside of Montagier's lab" has found them" is unlikely. You should look into the research of Peter Gariaev on Phantom DNA and others who are researching wave structures.

Discontinuous innovation and discovery typically doesn't happen in a bubble, but it is often stifled by established groups with much to lose from change.

Further, we really don't have any idea what is happening in highly secretive government and big-pharma labs all over the world.

Incidentally, Montagnier is on his way to China where the University of Shanghai is underwriting his research. It is a huge mistake for the West to let this guy go - but it is the result of close minded skeptics and establishment who have crucified his work and driven him out. Again, Big Mistake - as Chinese companies will be the ultimate beneficiary of health and medical breakthroughs produced based on his research.

Dear Homeoquackery

As you mentioned "My point was, if you're correct about water remembering all the things it's exposed to, then every time we drink it we should be taking in all kinds of substances, both good and bad. Clearly we're not doing that."

Wondering what you base that comment upon? 'Clearly we're not doing that' is a vast generalization. Would love to read some research if you have access to it which leads you to make that statement. A lot of people are worried about what is in water, including what is added by water companies eg fluoride let alone anything else in our systems. I was in fact referring to the water in our bodies as well as the tinctures created by homeopaths, just to be clear.

Would really like to see a picture of you added to your profile, so we can talk 'face to face' if you know what I mean. I looked at your blog and note that you have taken on the time honored role of skeptic. This is a wonderful function for all humans on the planet because it forces us to think through our facts. I like that, it's so easy to get carried away on a sea of thought or emotion without validating our experiences.

When I write about homeopathy, it's from personal experience of personal healings, repeatedly, over time. Just wondering if you have ever taken a homeopathic remedy, since it is IMHO only a personal journey which can change a person's experience? It's easy to be down on something you're not up on.

And as I mentioned before, most pharma. drugs do not work for me and often make me (sick)er. Homeopathy works for me repeatedly, over time. Either that, or it's all quackery and I have a huge self healing power which I ought to be writing another blog about. :-))

Cheers

Hi writingdianet

Thank you so much for your kind response, it warms the cockles of my heart (as we say in the UK!).

Great to hear that your kids are working through amateur homeopathy. My two (girls ages 8 and 7) have started to use kinesiology to muscle check for which remedy as well. If we can teach them to be experts for themselves then they're on the road to greater health.

If you have any stories in that realm you'd like to share to a wider audience, pls send them to be and I'd be happy to publish.

Good point about the small amount doesn't harm etc...just really excited about Dr Luc M's research though, I know some groundbreaking stuff can seem unbelievable initially.

Thanks again for focusing your energy into a comment, it's appreciated!

Cheers
Sarah

Putting the hair of a rabid dog into the wound was a folk treatment for rabies that DIDN'T WORK. So the metaphor seems appropriate.

And chemically speaking, most homeopathic medicines are diluted so highly that it is extremely unlikely a single molecule of the (to take your example) poison ivy is even left in the pill at all. Even in the unlikely event that your body would react that strongly to a single atom of anything -- which would be a bad thing, considering all the trace chemicals we're exposed to on a daily basis.

This is indeed a mysterious universe. I think most scientists share that wonder, which is why they went into a field where they could make a contribution to a better understanding of a small part of it. However, electromagnetic field aren't something "out there" that we're waiting for science to find a way to see. Science already tells us about them, and they're not related to what you claim they are.

Regarding sick people -- yes, I'm sure plenty of people are sick from side effects of drugs. That wasn't my point. My point was, if you're correct about water remembering all the things it's exposed to, then every time we drink it we should be taking in all kinds of substances, both good and bad. Clearly we're not doing that.

I am quite familiar, sadly, with Mr. Masaru Emoto. He also says that speaking nice words to water and then freezing it will result in beautiful crystals forming. This makes no physical sense and, not surprisingly, other scientists have been entirely unable to replicate his "accomplishments."

I love you! I mean, I love your post. I have been a HUGE fan of homeopathy for about 6 years now. My kids are now amateur homeopaths too. Mom, I bonked my shin--I need Arnica. Mom, I think I'm getting a cold--give me some Aconite please. I've got a tummy ache. What do you think--nux vomica or carbo veg? I also am really stoked that one of the very best remedy manufactures is right here in my state of WV. Washington Homeopathic Prducts, at www.homeopathyworks.com ( http://www.homeopathyworks.com ), is awesome!
Thank you so much for shining some light on a great alternative health practice.

(P.S. If folks aren't keen on the electromagnetic explanation, you can also give them the, "It's kind of like the 'hair of the dog that bit you' theory." A tee tiny amount of poison ivy, triggers the body's immune response to fight an exposure to same.")

Homeoquackery

You may not be aware of this, but my blog is a result of over 12 years of study on my part, and backed up by many more years of study and testing by other evolving individuals all over this electromagnetic planet.

This is a mysterious universe. Have you ever thought that sometimes we cannot see things but sense or feel them? We couldn't see bacteria until microscopes were invented, but scientists had a 'sense' that something was there, or they wouldn't have gone in that direction. I am a practitioner of the EMF Balancing Technique, which balances the electromagnetic field around humans and produces scientifically measurable results (google Lutz Rabe and EMF Balancing Technique for info).

IMHO a lot of people ARE sick all the time. There are many people who have been damaged by regular pharmaceutical use and are not even conscious enough of their bodies to be aware that damage is being caused. I am so highly sensitive to pharma. drugs that I can rarely use them so had to find alternatives in order to be well. If you were sick and modern drugs didn't work for you - what would you do?

Have you heard of the work of Masuru Emoto? He would say that imprints in water can carry sickness.

I also believe in the power of words because it's been scientifically proven that when others process them they change the brain state (eg chemicals in the brain). The name you have chosen sets you in a position of dishonoring the great work and research done by many people all over this planet to help us achieve greater wellness. Do you really want to continue to transmit that vibration and sense to other people's brains (it is something many people can feel, even if you can't - yet).

As I say in my blog, if I needed urgent medicine I would be the first at the hospital for the clean environment, great surgery and pain drugs. I honor mainstream medicine too and in no way would take a position of dishonoring it. However, there is more to be gained by combining disciplines and creating greater health for all - surely you want greater health and wellness for yourself too?

Wishing you the greatest health and wellness
Sarah

I'm not sure about being so quick to embrace this "electromagnetic field" theory. So far nobody outside of Montagnier's lab has found these fields. And even if they were found, what makes you think they have positive effects?

We can see viruses and bacteria in the microscope. We can't see exposure to extraordinarily diluted toxins having any effect on them.

If Montagnier is right, though, then surely every glass of water we drink must be filled with the "structural changes" and "electromagnetic signals" of thousands of impurities the water has been exposed to. We'd be sick all the time from that!
