Five Rockin’ Sunnies Under $150

Summer Sunnies

Dear Fashionistas,

We at Fashionista Chicago know that it is highly unlikely that women own just one pair of sunglasses. If you are like us, you probably have accumulated dozens of pairs over the years that end up in your glove compartment, old purses, beach bags, and the list goes on. Sometimes we are quick to ‘ditch’ a pair because something better catches our eye, or simply because, “what was I thinking when I bought these?!” Whatever the reason may be, you are not alone!

Whether shopping in stores or online, we often play it safe— settling for popular brand names or the most ‘trendy’ pair. With that said, we neglect to factor in the size, shape, and color of the frames that will best suit us. The first step in finding the perfect pair of sunglasses for you, is by understanding which styles work best with your face shape.

So what shape is your face? Our friends at Lens Crafters have put together a basic rundown of where to start. A heart-shaped face is defined by a broader forehead and narrower jawline and chin. An oval face is defined by balanced features and a chin slightly narrower than the forehead. A round face is defined by a soft, circular shape where the width and length are almost equal. Lastly, a square face is defined by strong, well-defined angles in the forehead, cheeks, and jawline.

Final Face Shapes

Easy right? Here is a look at five pairs of sunglasses that we think will accentuate your best features. Best of all— each pair is under $150! Happy Shopping Fashionistas!
