Flip It Stage It :: Keeping It Neutral

Keeping your home decor in a neutral color palette is a great way to stage a home to sell or rent. It is less overwhelming to people that view it. It can also make rooms appear larger. Two designers that do neutral well are Nate Berkus and Mary McDonald. They have a gift for adding the right texture and accents to a space making neutral anything but boring. Adding a few key accents like a touch of black, an ornate mirror or a chinoiserie jar make a space elegant. So lighten up and people will like it!
