I am a Florist by day and a Seamstress by night. I attend the Albertsons Gym for my muscular exercise, cleaning buckets, moving buckets of water here and there (weight lifting), watering the plants outside (hauling a 50' hose full of water) etc....No need for an official gym.. I just work hard every day. WORK is a four letter word!! It's good to work, keeps me out of trouble.
Anyway, in the evenings I create and sew aprons. I have over 60 styles and counting!! The latest apron I'm making is the GATHERED NECK APRON (I get to name the aprons). So this pattern I drafted and drew up is for three types of gathered necks, the HORIZONTAL gather on the curve of the neck, the VERTICAL gather center front, and the gathered KEYHOLE at the center front. i 've started out with polka dot fabric...oh so in style at the present. . With a little bias trim on the neckline and around the pockets for design lines!! The keyhole apron will have a 1950s(?) KEYHOLE POCKET (I get to name the apron pockets also), which is a crescent shape pocket, trimmed in bias tape, then applied to the apron with a bow..You'll have to see this soon on line, at my Etsy shop.
