Great dinner - recipes

One of the few areas that I have confidence in is my cooking. So I have changed the format of this blog (which I had given up on) to be one with recipes. Here was tonight's supper: Homemade mushroom soup, fresh bread from the breadmaker, avocado and tangelo salad and haricot green beans with Hungarian peppers. Kids Eat Kale?

I've heard a rumor that some kids actually eat kale!! Could this possibly be true?  Mine sure don't.  My Mom served a delicious kale salad for Christmas made with mandarin oranges (the kind from the can that kids love).  My boys gobbled up the oranges but didn't touch the kale.  Boo. ...more
