Food Blogger Favorites: David of Leite's Culinaria on iPads and Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies
We're getting excited about BlogHer Food 10 on October 8 and 9, so we're asking for the favorite recipes of some of the food bloggers in the BlogHer network.
David Leite of Leite's Culinaria played along:
David Leite is a three-time James Beard Award-winning food writer and online publisher, winning twice for Leite's Culinaria--the first online publication ever to win the prestigious honor. He's also the author of the cookbook, The New Portuguese Table (Clarkson Potter), which won the 2010 IACP Julia Child/First Book Award. His work has appeared in many publications, including the New York Times, Martha Stewart Living, Saveur, Bon Appétit, Gourmet, Food & Wine, Pastry Art & Design, Food Arts, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Sun-Times, The Washington Post, Charlotte Observer, epicurious.com, and Ridgefield Magazine, where he was the food editor for three years. He's a regular guest on radio and TV, including The Today Show, Martha Stewart Radio, The Splendid Table with Lynne Rossetto Kasper, Good Food with Evan Kleiman, and Connecticut Style. He's a fan of afternoon naps.
David's favorite post talks about ultimate chocolate-chip cookies -- as well as the iPad, Angry Birds and the NYT Crossword Puzzle. Get the recipe -- at his blog.
I'm making all of these favorites before the year is through -- I'll let you know how it goes (though sadly, I don't have an iPad. Yet).
