[Editor's Note: Food bloggers were shocked this past weekend to learn of the sudden and tragic death of fellow blogger Jennifer Perillo's husband, Mikey. The outpouring of online support—from posts to eight-second hugs on Twitter—has been awe-inspiring. This week, Jennifer herself asked her readers to take time today and bake Mikey's favorite pie, peanut butter cream, in his memory and to share it with someone they love. A peanut butter pie in memory of Mikey
Jennifer provided the recipe on her website, and my colleague Sarah and I will both be making peanut butter pies to serve to people we love. Join us—and hundreds of people around the globe as we celebrate a man who made the world a sweeter place for everyone around him. You never know when you might have a hungry heart of your own that needs feeding.
