Today I'm thrilled to share the podcast of an interview I just conducted, in partnership with Blogher, with former CIA agent Valerie Plame Wilson.
Wilson recently wrote the book "Fair Game: My Life As a Spy, My Betrayal by the White House", published by Simon & Schuster. In it, she was brave enough to recount her experience with postpartum depression (PPD) after the birth of her twins in 2000. We had the good fortune to talk with her about her surprise at getting PPD, her symptoms, her eventual treatment, and how surviving PPD helped her deal with her current struggles after having her cover blown. It is a revealing interview, and Valerie holds back nothing. I believe every woman can benefit from hearing the wisdom and grace she shares in this conversation about PPD.

Great. I mentioned her book on your blog awhile back. I'm glad to see this candid interview at blogher. Her advice on not giving up while seeking help is tremendously important. This does get better!
