Free Photoshop Arrows and a Tutorial on How to Use Them!
By IROCKSOWHAT on December 05, 2012
I made some arrows for you guys to use on your pictures and blog posts and stuff. You can use these pretty much anywhere... maybe your Christmas cards? I don't know! But either way, I love having an assortment of pngs to grab for my personal use, just as I'm sure you do too.

I get asked all the time how to actually USE some of the photoshop freebies that I make. Honestly, there are endless things you can do with them, but I figured the easiest and most useful way to use them is to make brushes out of them. Below is a step by step tutorial on how I make brushes in photoshop. Making a brush in photoshop (making your arrows into brushes) will allow you to make them other colors, and so you won't be just limited to black (but you totally can keep them black too if you wish!).

6. Once your new document is opened, go to EDIT and then PASTE. This will paste everything you copied in the previous document.
10. Now you can open a new document and go to your brushes menu. Your arrow brush will be there and you're good to go!
This tutorial will work on just about any image that is solid black on a white or transparent background. Black images make the best brushes. Good luck! (P.S. For those that need to make a watermark for your photos, THIS IS AN EXCELLENT WAY TO DO IT!)
