'Put A Bow On It' Crochet Coffee Cozy

 
 
 
Before we start here are some helpful tips when following this pattern...
- Start your round in same stitch as chain.
- Always join your rounds to the first stitch and not the chain.
- Do not count the chain as a stitch.
 
Materials:
Pink and Turquoise Worsted Weight Yarn
Tapestry Needle
Crochet Hook in Size I-9 (5.5 mm)
 
Abbreviations:
CH = chain
SL ST = slip stitch
SC = single crochet
HDC = half double crochet
 
Crochet Coffee Cup Cozy Pattern:
Using pink yarn...
Round 1 | CH 25, SL ST to first CH to form ring.
Round 2 | CH 1, SC in each stitch around, SL ST into top of first single crochet (25 SC)
Round 3-8 | CH 2, HDC in each stitch around, slip stitch into top of first single crochet (25 HDC)
Round 9 | CH 1, SC in each stitch around, slip stitch into top of first single crochet, fasten off (25 SC)
Finish | Weave in ends.
 
Crochet Bow Pattern:
Using turquoise yarn...
Round 1 | CH 25, SL ST to first CH to form ring.
Round 2 | CH 1, SC in each stitch around, SL ST into top of first single crochet (25 SC)
Round 3-8 | CH 2, HDC in each stitch around, slip stitch into top of first single crochet (25 HDC)
Round 9 | CH 1, SC in each stitch around, slip stitch into top of first single crochet, fasten off (25 SC)
Finish | Find center and pinch to form a bow shape, using a long piece of yarn wrap it around the center and faster off once you have a nice bow shape. Attach the finished bow to the cozy.
