A Subdued Oscar Weekend

Saturday--I’m trying to work up some excitement about the event, but I’m guessing this year will be remembered as one of the most subdued Oscar seasons in recent memory. The format of this year’s 80th annual awards ceremony was so iffy that some of the presenters weren’t even invited to participate until the strike was resolved.
