World War Z: Read it or Watch it (or both)?

It is not that often that I watch a movie and then read the book, (The Hunger Games Trilogy was another read inspired by the movie) however I enjoyed the Zombie Flick so much, reading the book seemed like the next logical move....more

It's The End Of The World As We Know It, And I Look Fine

According to the ancient Mayan calendar, the world is scheduled to come to an end on December 21, 2012.  I don't know about you, but I plan to spend my remaining two months studying up on what to expect when you're being exterminated. Zombie Apocalypse

Are you prepared for a zombie apocalypse?  I sure as hell am not!!  If zombies attacked, I had better hope I have a strong man nearby because I’d be toast.  Seriously.  I will likely hide in the corner and scream like a little school girl.  I keep saying that once I buy my new house, I’m going to build a fall out shelter.  Well, not me… but whomever I can trick into doing it for me.  So far, all I have is a BB gun, and some kitchen knives.  I hope everyone likes ramen noodles and kidney beans....more
