World Famous Dairy Free Guacamole | GAPS Friendly. AIP Friendly.
Okay, world famous might be a bit crazy but my guacamole has been requested a lot. It is quite delicious and quick to make which I like. I also love that it is loaded with whole food in their natural state, is dairy free and those who follow the GAPS or AIP diet can have it. That's a winner in my book!

Last month, David’s mama and sister came to stay with us a couple of days. My sister-in-law and I talk about food a lot. We practically have the same palate. New wiring is being run, updates to mechanical systems are being made, walls and ceiling are coming down, windows and doors may change. The mess is amplified. The dust feels unbearable. It’s then that those who brave a major remodel long for a quiet kitchen and a dull routine.

In dragon tag, everyone wears velcro flags (like in flag football) and is split up into two teams. The goal is to tag (by pulling their flags) everyone on the opposing team. This game always involves running around and climbing playground equipment, and we work up a good sweat!...more
Last weekend I stopped by my parents' house and took a quick walk through their garden. Despite it being cold and rainy, the herbs were still green and I spotted a few tomatoes still on the vine. I was suddenly reminded that my dad had asked me to pick all the tomatillos that had ripened, heavy in their husks, the plants bowing towards the ground....more
