Deep Breath. Start Again

  Today's start was such a tease. Allie woke at seven, and Kaylee slept in until eight. Woot! I was allowed that most coveted of experiences the morning shower! Not having to wait until naptime or night is a rare but welcome treat. Before eight in the morning I was showered, dressed, looking and feeling human again. Today was going well! Good Days and Bad Days

Good Days = Good Mommy I go to sleep early and get 8 uninterrupted hours of much-needed rest. My boys sleep in a little bit, giving me a chance to get ready for work in a dark quiet house. I actually fix my hair instead of throwing it up in a ponytail. My usually tight jeans that were dried in the dryer too long actually fit. The first shirt I grab looks good. Feeling energetic, I fix myself a protein shake, pack my son a nutritious lunch and start my day. Heck, I might even make it to the gym during lunch and cook a meal for dinner.
