"I think you would really like How To Be A Woman by Caitlin Moran," my friend said on Sunday night.
"What? Who's that?" I asked.
"She's a feminist columnist for The Times in London, and wrote a bestselling book about feminism. She was just interviewed in The New York Times. I can't believe you have not heard of her!"
This week I've been thinking about being a modern feminist; obviously I'm not first or second wave, but I'm really not third wave so where does that leave me? As far as I know there hasn't been any academic discussion of a fourth wave so I'll go with modern feminist, which I'm stealing fromCaitlin Moran.
