When the Christian life is a bit too much like a political debate...

I confess. If I can go to bed before 9 p.m. each night, I do. While a football game for my favorite team might keep me up beyond my "early to bed, early to rise" habits on the weekend (and only sometimes), debates for presidential candidates do not. It's not that I don't care about the upcoming presidential contest. It felt as if I were in Mrs. Repulski's Advanced Humanities class again."I'd better explain this better," my English teacher abruptly would interrupt her own lecture, adding: "Sara looks confused."It's rather embarrassing at times, but my face is nothing but honest.  If I were confused, it showed. Mrs. Repulski would then take the time to explain the material again, perhaps a different way, reading my face to measure the entire class's level of understanding.
