Do you think teachers should have the room to integrate their educational philosophy into the classroom?

I remember in my Master's program we had many discussions about the idea of an "educational philosophy". Earlier classes were idealistic: what do you believe, want your students to achieve, how do you think students should be taught, how can your unique experiences shape a child's future? Class Moms Rule. The Good, The Bad and the Ugly of Classroom Volunteering

I have to admit my reasons for being a class mom are purely selfish. But it wasn’t always this way.
