Easy Chocolate Chip & Peanut Butter Cookies

In honor or chocolate chip day today, I thought I'd bake, eat, and share this recipe. Now, I did consider simply making chocolate chip cookies, but the added benefit of peanut butter I couldn't resist. These cookies are the absolute best! O-M-G! They melt in your mouth and have that stick to the roof of your mouth. There's no flour, either! So all my gluten-free, gluten sensitive people, this one's also for you!!I don't use vanilla in my baking. Does that make them better? You be the judge :wink wink:...more

Swiss Icebox Cookies

I fell in love with Swiss Icebox Cookies a few years ago. When my cousin gave me the recipe (thanks D) I didn’t expect much, because it seemed they were made of familiar ingredients. But when I tried them, soon I found out they were terribly addictive – I just couldn’t stop eating them. Slice-and-bake icebox cookies (or refrigerator cookies) are very practical. The cookies turned out fine, but if I make it again next time, I would add a little bit more baking powder (or baking soda) to get more crinkles....more

Lace Bridal Shower Cookies

I was asked to create lingerie cookies for a bridal shower. There is  fine line when you design lingerie cakes/cookies for bachelorette parties and/or bridal showers. You don’t want anything too risqué, that might offend a mother-in-law to be (for example), yet  you want the bride and her friends to have fun with the cookies. I find using vintage turn of the century inspiration keeps the theme elegant and tastefully decorated. ...more
