I'm old. I'm tired.I've had a few squatters come through and it seems they never want to leave. The place wouldn't pass a building inspection - the pelvic floor is all but ruined - and the neighbors are weird. Music clears my mind after a long day of work or school. The internet gives me the resources to look for new music in the genre of my choice. I am in love with soul music, the melodies and lyrics speak to me. My favorites Jill Scott, John Legend, Erykah Badu, Trey Songz, Usher, R. Kelly and Anthony Hamilton. Then there are times when I listen to John Mayer, there is this song called "Gravity" it has the sweetest tone and listen to it when I am feeling the blues. Hip hop is also in my iPod, Common, Lupe Fiasco, Drake, J.Cole, Wiz Khalifa, to name a few bump through my headphones....more

I'm not afraid to admit that I am a dork, nerd, geek, spazz, weirdo, etc. It's only been in the past 5 years or so that I have been able to embrace my inner dork with pride. I used to be dreadfully ashamed of the fact that I'm different. I look different, I like different things, I speak in a different way. I'm an outsider and since I have been able to admit that, I have been able to stop trying to make myself "fit in".
