According to a new report, Alex Rodriguez and his super agent Scott Boras told the New York Yankees they would not meet unless the Yanks were offering $350 million. The report says the Yankees were looking to give him a five year contract extension worth $150 million or $30 million a season. That was not enough. Instead Boras decided the middle of game 4 of the World Series was the perfect time to announce ARod's intentions to opt out of the Yankees contract.
