Even before I got my fitness instructor certificate, I heard a lot of people arguing about this. Now, that I have a more valid judgement (having been educated about this), I am asked THE question over and over again. Indeed, it is great that this question is out there because that means, we care about our health and appearance, we want to get better, fitter, stronger, which is a true delight for me as a trainer.
