Show of hands, who's a font addict?
I have more fonts than I will probably ever use, but that really doesn't matter, does it? You just never know when you might need a particular font, and therefore we addicts are justified in having several hundred (or thousand; I don't judge) fonts stored on our computers.
Want a quick and easy way to make your space look super hip in only a couple hours? I wish I could tell you that this was hard, but it was sooooo easy. It just took the time to randomly stick vinyl letter type stickers in various sizes (I purchased mine at Michaels) to a plain white paper lantern. For a while, I toyed with the idea of using embedded fonts to liven up my web pages. I would read articles on how to do it and get discouraged. Some browsers needed one kind of font, some another -- it was too much bother.
Then Google came out with a font-embedding system that is dead easy. You can get started with them at the Google Font API page.
