What I meant: "I have no idea what you said, I tuned you out 10 minutes ago because I was I was about to pass out from sheer boredom."
What I said: "That sucks for you!"
What I meant: "Sucks to be you. Heh."
When was the last time you laughed so hard you started crying? If you have to think about it, it has been way too long.
For me, it was just a few days ago. I have been blessed with a business partner who makes me belly laugh at least once a week. I think this is why I know we are having success together in business. Because no matter what difficulties we face, we can always help each other see the bright side, and even laugh until we cry!
What’s your favorite holiday?Ours is Thanksgiving. The entire Chrismukah-gift-buying-gift-giving-retail-complex has completely lost it’s luster. It’s become one big responsibility laden roadblock of expectation. You know you have to worry about what to get everyone. You have to worry about how much it will cost. The worst is that you have to remember what you gave each person last year then try to trump a perfect bulls-eye or compensate for the gift gaffe. I think this was one of my kids favorite activities so far. We went outside to one of our flower pots by the pool where we can easily find bugs, frogs, geckos, etc. gathered a couple worms, grubs, a beetle and an earwig. Going on a bug hunt was fun!...more
Art is subjective; it can be quantified as being beautiful, inspirational or for the early painters a form of reporting the events of the day. Kitsch is more like syrup on top of ice cream. It is of the heart, the emotions and a strong dose of guilty pleasures. There are times when it is hard to tell what is art and what is kitsch.
