It seems that every summer, an unusual phenomenon happens… scores of women online simultaneously wonder: “What am I going to wear to BlogHer?” With only a few days until the much-celebrated conference, I’m starting to ask myself that same question — along with a whole host of others.
OMG I'm going to Blogher 09. Yessiree bob. I will be among those 1500 people vying for all the good swag and the karaoke microphone. And maybe a free drink. Even though I have a wedding dress to fit into in 74 days.
Here are a few things about me:
Hi Blogher Folks!
I am excited about meeting everyone on Friday and Saturday. I leave tomorrow evening for Blogher and will spend Thursday hanging out in Chicago with friends and family. I was in Chicago last month for Blogging While Brown and had an amazing time.
I am really excited about meeting the Blogalicious/MamaLaw bloggers on Friday night at their Lush Event. I interviewed them on BAP Living Radio on Sunday evening. Click here to listen to the show: http://www.talkshoe.com/tc/18598.

I blog at www.missdisgrace.com, and am a proud 1/3 of www.boobemancipation.com. I am a single mother to my 3.5 year old son, Gabriel. I work full time at a bookstore in Santa Cruz, CA. This is my second BlogHer conference (I was in San Francisco last year).
My name is Sian, I am a mum of four from the UK. I am quite new to the blogging scene and this is the first BlogHer that i have attended - and if the truth be told it is also the first time that i have been away from my family for more than two nights.
So whilst I am really excited about my trip - I am feeling a bit wobbly too!
I live right in the middle of the UK in Leicestershire with my hubby of 10 years, my three youngest kids.
I blog about life, loves and things that I love.

On Wednesday, I will be arriving in Chicago to attend a conference of personal/life bloggers that is 95% women. There will be around 1400 people in attendance, and it's likely that less than 10% of those people will have any idea who I am. This means that there will be a lot of people whose only interaction with me will be a brief hello, leaving no real impression of who I am.
I'm following Denise's call for info!
I'm Carmen. I write on Mom to the Screaming Masses, on The Elff Diet, and I'm the blogger for
Zwaggle and DietsInReview. I have six kids and we deal with food
allergies, migraines (kids and me), autism and processing delays, and
dealing with both preschoolers and high school seniors at the same
time. I live in Virginia with my husband, the hardest working man
ever. I spend most of my day online, and can be considered a Facebook
addict. (Is there a 12 step program for that, I wonder?)
I think it's a great idea to post some info about ourselves before BlogHer, especially for the newbies like me. And I'm not even going to be at the BlogHer sessions, cause I was a little (5months) late signing up, but I will be at LobbyCon and I will hopefully be meeting lots of you at the parties. So, without further ado, the finer points of me ...
