As promised, here is my first post for a natural health and beauty product using essential oils. If you haven't used essential oils yet, you are certainly missing out! They are a wonderful, natural way to help eliminate the use of unnecessary chemicals, additives, synthetic fragrances, and other nasty and harmful ingredients that are in so many of the household and beauty products that are on the market today. I have been on a mission the past several months to reduce as much of these harmful ingredients from my home as possible....more
"Wow, this stuff is good. The moment the dry Winter air shows up, my hands begin to crack and bleed, and it has already started this year. This creme is so luscious and thick, and yet it is smooth and doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy. I can put it on during the day and at night before bed....more
What's the greenest lotion of them all -- that feels good and moisturizes nicely? I've tried quite a few -- and I hope my reviews of will help you choose more easily and wisely without spending hours scanning ingredient labels and dollars trying out duds. Here are the best eco-friendly lotions I've found and use now:
I know it’s only the middle of autumn but I’m already feeling the effects of the chilly weather on my skin. My arms are feeling a little itchy and dry and my elbows – well, I’m having a hard time seeing them, but they feel kind of rough. My feet are another issue and now is the time to head off future problems involving cracked heels and flaky skin.
Eczema is not pretty. It's painful and itchy and looks it. It's often described as a bad case of dry skin, but it's not quite that simple. Whew, it's been a rough couple of weeks! Is the sky falling or what? It

I can't live without the gradual self-tanner body lotion from Target. Jergens has a great scent but I've had even better results with the Target brand. I'm Irish/German descent and my skin is really fair, but not the beautiful flawless, chinadoll, porcelain white. No, mine is kind of a blue/grey hue. Sounds lovely, eh? The color I get from the tanner prevents me from looking like I live under a rock.
