What are some ways to maintain healthy habits while snacking?I don’t feel that there any real problems with snacking, as long as it is done mindfully and in moderation. Eating well takes planning, and by eating well, I mean eating foods that fuel your body. There are plenty of blog posts out there telling you how to be a foodie; creating gorgeous meals that taste amazing too. But buried under all of those pretty pictures and cool culinary tricks is an important question: is it healthy?
Tip #1: Sunday Ritual- Start one and be prepared.The Sunday Ritual could include any number of components, but I would encourage a few key ones. One being this is a time where you take a look at your week ahead. What partys are this week? What's your overall schedule? How many times will you be away from home and having to eat out at a restaurant or party? Based off these questions, plan. Twelve days ago, my family and I moved from Seattle, Washington to Copenhagen, Denmark. As we scrambled for dinner the first night—and ended up eating pizza topped with breakfast bacon—we quickly realized that Danes don’t have much of a take-out culture.
