Early Morning in September: So Glad I'm not a "Night Person"

Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.Martin Luther King Jr.I wanted to commemorate this day.Why?  It's a day just like every other day.  A day of play, with plans for my waist length hair to be hacked about 3 inches, and colored.  One BFF will watch the boys while I go do this, for the first time without the little men.  We are growing A's hair out, just to see what happens when we go 5 months between cuts for him.  Right now, he looks like a red-headed version of Paul McCartney, 60s Beatles style. ...more

Uncool Hands

I went naked over 10 years ago.  Naked hands, that is.  No more soaking in pink solution and breathing in air that comes with a warning label.  No more long, polished fingernails in colors like Chick Flick Cherry or Blushingham Palace.  Ever since, it's just been clip, file, and (sometimes) buff.  And done by myself, I might add. ...more
