When my husband said that we were moving to Texas, one thing that I knew was that it would be hot. I really don't like to be hot. My readers on my Facebook page can attest to that because I whine about it every day. My kids do, too...whine, every day. One of them actually sticks her hands under he arms, turns her angry face to me and says "Underarm sweat is so GROSS!" Highly dramatic but, she's 5 - years-old, okay? You know what, though? I didn't fully appreciate just how hot it would get.
We are in the midst of Peach Season here in my part of New England. When I went to pick up our Farm Share the other day, I came home with tons of them! So what to do with all these peaches? Well, many of them will just be eaten fresh… sweet, juicy peaches are such an amazing summertime treat! We also plan to make up a batch of Peach Preserves, and last night my beautiful daughter made the most delicious Peach Cobbler using this recipe. It came out great!...more
I visited our local Old Towne Orange Farmers and Artisans Market in Orange, California. It was a beautiful sunny day and I was ready to be inspired for tonight’s dinner.
