OLD FRIENDS NEW FRIENDS….I love my old friends that have stayed in my life on purpose….I love my new friends that have entered or will enter….Both give me perspective that the other cannot give….My old friends tell me who I was and the travels I have been on. We laughed together and cried together and built our dreams together……When life sort of took us on separate roads we still remained friends as I merged into new trafffic to meet new people with different personalities….....more
Back to the problem of 'Being Told to Diet' by peer pressure.Made difficult (and ultimately annoying) because said 'peer' happens to be someone 'in power' at the office.I am still gonna be stuck in this office for another three months. The money, granted, is good. The pressure, however, to diet, was immense to the point of painful.Yes, I am overweight. Yes, I am still unmarried. I stumbled upon a blog post about 5 months ago by a young lady ragging on obese women. I mean, just going to town about their disgusting appearance, about how lazy they are, how fat women are a disgrace to the feminist movement...this thing had it all....more
