As I am sure you know, The Royal Wedding was on April 29, 2011. There was much to do about this wedding, but none as cute and funny as this classic fairy tale comparison. You can’t make this up! We will let it speak for itself! “Bye for Now” from The Two WhosCece-one of The Two Whos http://www.thetwowhos.com...more
I was driving to school a few weeks back listening to what BBC coined their “Royal Wedding Disco” when the DJ pulled out Journey’s classic “Don’t Stop Believing.”I almost ran my little Beetle right off the road....more
Like the wedding of Charles and Diana, William and Catherine’s wedding has been referred to, over and over again, as a “fairy tale.” Most of us are guilty of using commonly repeated words or phrases, such as fairy tales, without really thinking about what they mean. But just a short mental reconnaissance through our beloved childhood “fairy tales” reminds us that every story from this genre worth its salt features a scary villain: the nasty wolf dressed as the trusted grandmother; the evil stepmother; the bitter old crone who pu...more

We're a long way from Ancient Rome, but the roar of the Colosseum has returned in the form of global technology.
Every year has its ups and downs; but it seems like 2011 has already had its share of tragedies. Between the high gas prices, the horrendous events that struck China, the verbal mud-slinging between Republicans and Democrats that could have ultimately shut down the government, the dangerous and debilitating storms that hit Alabama and many other states, it’s no wonder that people seem to be a little moody these days.
Many people have expressed their unhappiness with the much publicized coverage of the Royal Wedding which has occurred over the past few months. “Why ...more
Disney has done us no favors, folks. This morning I roused my sleepy 5 year-old out of bed and carried her into the living room to watch the Royal Wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton. I thought she would be delighted to see a common girl become a princess in real life before her very eyes. I was wrong. She watched in awe at first, but before I knew it, she was on the ground kicking and crying. It was a fit of tumultuous jealousy and pure rage....more
