I went to see a movie last night in attempt at a girls night out which always has a hint of guilt attached to it (that's another blog post).   The movie was called Taken and for those of you mothers out there, don't see it.  It's stressful and sick and I only wished that the subject matter could be chalked up to being "just a movie". I love my family. I really do. My parents are incredible people and my wonderful childhood is filled with happy memories. My dad is a doctor and he's the kind of guy you want to be YOUR doctor. He still makes house calls for his elderly and infirm patients. He stays at the office until every patient who needs to be seen has been seen. He is a big teddy bear. My mom is an artist.
