It shows I haven't been doing all that good in dropping a poundage. Confession time...I'm not persistent. I thought I would been doing my south hill walks. Looking forward moving out of the area. To much commercial. Statement time...You won't see any photos of big box stores on my walk. I try to support a local Mom and Pop places . I once walk Tamark road or lane. Did get some photos but some how I lost them. No big deal....more
I cannot be the only one...who is ready for their little one to head back into the halls of knowledge (or at least of crayons and construction paper). At my old home I had an ugly slab of cement for a walkway to the front door. It was alot of work to remove the concrete, so I hired a handyman for that.(The pot on top of the milkcan is a corn popper. It looked better in person.)...more
In addition to the change in diet we have implemented as a family, the hubby has sold us on the idea of taking a walk around the neighborhood park every night after dinner. The purpose is three-fold: to incorporate movement in our daily routine, to walk off any extra calories, and most importantly, to exhaust the little one into an early bedtime. And don’t misunderstand, my 3 year old is not normal, he can stay up all night long if we let him. He is still unusually alert at 2am. Anyway, walking around a lake and feeding the ducks for an hour really helps tire him out....more
