What Yoga Can Teach Type A Types

I love yoga. I’ve been practicing for a long time. I’m not even really sure how long…maybe 8 years? I’m being trained to teach and I’m finishing up my certification in April. So last night, I’m with my husband and another couple. They are dear, dear friends who have been a constant, reliable, supportive part of our lives for 15 years or so. I love them. I just want to say, I love them and I love my husband. I want to put that out there before I really lay into them. ...more

I’m working on some big stuff; working to make big things happen for myself, my family, my clients and for Owning Pink. This is BIG STUFF and I realized that to make BIG STUFF happen I was going to need some BIG ALLIES and so I reached out to God, the Universe and Everything and made The Big Ask. I mean, why not? Isn’t that what all the gurus say to do?...more

Me, the warrior princess!

I am going to be a warrior princess!  My boyfriend found this weekend fitness challenge called the "Warrior Dash," which is a crazy ultimate event for thrill-seeking athletes.  Now, I feel the need to say, I am no athlete by any stretch of the word.  I have a treadmill which collects dust, because I don’t want to be in the same room with it.  I reall...more
