Fresh Day Ahead
One thing I’ve realized a little more deeply as life has gone on, it’s short. Often, too short. This very nugget of truth has motivated me to see each day as a gift from God, to choose joy, to see life more through the fresh eyes of my children – as an adventure that waits to unfold. In the midst of a lively, crazy household of 3 kids and 3 pets, where laundry is never quite done, and “messy” sometimes rules, I keep this verse hanging on the fridge, “she can laugh at the days to come.” Proverbs 31:25. It grounds me. It frees up laughter within me. It helps me not to take myself so seriously. We truly do have so much to be thankful for in this life!
My heart is simply this – to encourage and inspire others onward in this often wonderful, yet sometimes painful, journey we call life.
