Fudge Recipes x3!

 

First off...
Let's just start referring to me as Betty...
Betty Crocker, that is!
 
I have been super busy in the kitchen preparing lots of goodies...
I cannot express is words how much I love baking for the holidays...
I am not sure why I do not bake some of the treats during the year...
I think I just like to save it up for December and go nuts!
 
Here is a sneak at what I have whipped up the past few days....
 He licked that bad boy CLEAN...haha
ALRIGHT.....
 
Let's break it down....
I used two recipes for these creations...
Chocolate Fudge and Peanut Butter Fudge!
Then I mixed and matched and made...
Chocolate Walnut Fudge
Chocolate/Peanut Butter Fudge
Reese's Cup Fudge
 
Here are the two main recipes...
Chocolate Fudge
3 cups sugar
2/3 cup evaporated milk
3/4 cup butter
7oz Marshmellow Cream (I really just used half of a 13 oz jar split between the 2 recipes)
1/2 tsp vanilla
12 oz Chocolate Chips 
 
Peanut Butter Fudge (same recipe minus Chocolate Chips)
3 cups sugar
2/3 cup evaporated milk
3/4 cup butter
7oz Marshmellow Cream (remaining from the jar)
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 cup Peanut Butter....DO NOT USE ORGANIC(with the oil on top-I ruined a batch, it was gritty)
 
For both recipes:
Bring butter, evaporated milk, and sugar to a boil. 
Continue boiling over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly! 
Once the 5 minutes is up stir in the remaining ingredients! 
Pour into a 9x13 pan (buttered) and allow to set up...
I let mine sit out for an hour then put it in the fridge...
DO NOT cut it right out of the fridge...it gets stuck!
Allow it to return to room temperature before you cut it nicely
(unless your just snacking, haha that is okay)
 
Variations of the recipes...
For the Chocolate Walnut Fudge...
I used the chocolate fudge recipe and topped with chopped walnuts
Top instantly so the walnuts stick!! I love this one!:)
 
For the Chocolate Peanut Butter AND
Reese's Cup Fudge
I started with making just one batch of PB Fudge, and splitting it between 2-9x13 pans
I topped the one with Reese's and left the other plain...
(I used 2 of those 8 packs of Reese's cups...the dollar ones)
Then I made a batch of the chocolate fudge and once again split it between to 2 pans...
I allowed it to set as usual....IT IS AMAZING!!! 
I liked having one of each in case the Reese's is too rich flavored for people....
Let's take another look at it...YUM!
I also made my favorite Peanut Butter Kisses cookies...
I totally cheated and just bought the Betty Crocker Peanut Butter Cookie Mix...
I used dark and milk chocolate kisses...
I accidentially put them in the container before they were cooled...
so I was forced to eat the rejects...

This year I am trying to find the perfect sugar cookie recipe...
