Gangsta Pumpkin Latte ~

Oh No she didn't just tell me they were out of Pumpkin Latte ~ I might lose my mind!

I am a huge Starbucks Fan and avid travel cup collector! Sadly, living in Europe we are limited on what flavors we get here compared to back home!

One of my FAVORITE coffee's at Starbucks in the Pumpkin Latte! OH MI GOSH I was so happy when I heard it had come to Germany this year! I will drive a million miles for one of these and oh yes I will pay 5Euros for it!

Now there are a few problems here in Europe, one being, there are no drive through Starbucks! Yes I know devastatingly sad but true.  In order for me to get one of these tasty little cups of heaven I have to pay to park, get out of the car, walk through town, in the snow, uphill both ways, barefoot, ok not barefoot but for sure it is uphill both ways!

Hmm,  Ok its soo worth it for Pumpkin Latte.  So I put on my boots, drove to town, parked the car, walked through the sleet  .... thinking the whole time, you can do this, think of the reward! I could taste the Hot Spiced Pumpkin Latte running over my tounge...licking My lips, swallowing that tasty fluid ...ohhhh wait that is a different blog! I almost ran the last few steps to the door of the Starbucks! Whoo Hoo I can't wait! I get in line, nothing is fast here, and finally I get to the counter ~ and Guess What? They are no longer serving Pumpkin Lattes!

WHAT... it is only one week after Thanksgiving! This is anarchy! This should be illegal! Where is your manager! Holy Cow,  I practically dissolve into a crying mess in the floor of Starbucks. I am on the verge of a total breakdown when this Counter Girl, rolls her eyes at me and says "Can I get you something else?"   OH NO YOU DIDN'T .... I am feeling that I could be losing control here ~ Breathe ~Gather yourself! Think, when things get tough, the tough get going ~ right. What would Oprah do? Or Martha Stewart? Or Mrs. Obama? Hmmmm, "NO thank you" I say! I showed her! I walked right out that door; rang the bell on the way out too! I am Hot right now!

I picked myself up, and I marched right home, and you know what I did ? Sometimes a girl has to do, what a girl has to do.  Don't judge me!  That's right, I got out my lap top, and I got on Pinterest. That's what I did! Oh yes I did!  I am feeling pretty Gangsta right now ~ "What girl behind the counter" .... "No Pumpkin Latte! OH Yeah"  Got the gansta hands flying in the air, as I pull my crock pot out!  Don't mess with me ~ Yeah YOU Girl~ I pulled my whisk out.  I am not playing, don't make me come back there!  I searched Pinterest for all kind-a Pumpkin Lattes, then swagged to the kitchen, finger wagging, head bobbing! Talking to myself about how these people don't know who they are messing with! What? You talkin to me?

Oh Yeah,  I had some things lying around the house. I threw it all into the crock pot! Then I mixed it up, sprayed it with whipped cream, threw down some nutmeg  ~ oh Yes I did! Never again will I pay 5 euros to walk through the snow to get a latte! WORD to your mother ~ Oh wait I am the mother, nevermind drink up!

Here is the recipe I used ~ there are many of them out there but this worked for me, it was quick, easy, cheap, and My Family said it tasted just like Starbucks ~ I am a quick and easy kinda girl, especially when I am feeling a little Gangsta! So take that ~ Girl Behind the Counter , who was out of pumpkin Spice! She probably wasnt even out, she was probably saving it for herself!
