Tomorrow morning at this time I will be putting my final items in my bag, kissing the lovies goodbye, and heading off to Boston for one of the BlogHer '08 Reach Out Tours! I am going on this exciting road trip with 3 of my fellow bloggers from Chester County Moms! I haven't road tripped with my girlfriends in quite a while, and I am sure that this is going to be a blast! Even more exciting is that we'll be driving to the event in style .... a Saturn Outlook! Whoo-Hoo! Can't wait to check it out and get that baby out on the open road! Ooopps, sorry GM. What I meant to say was that I can't wait to responsibly check out all of the features of this fine vehicle while obeying all traffic and vehicle safetly regulations, of course! Just kidding, we will behave. We promise.
I have all of my packing planned on paper, so it really shouldn't take me to long to complete that today. What I really need to do is organize my conference thoughts and questions and get them down on paper. There are ALOT of things that I am looking to get out of this conference. They range from the the small techie types of questions to the larger, more strategic questions on how to raise readership, tailoring my blog to my target market, and understanding social media in much greater depth. I am going to try to get that accomplished today too, but if not, I do have a 6 hour car ride tomorrow to hash it all out! I really want to make sure I maximize my conference time.
Here we come, Boston! I hope you are ready for us!
