Getting to know Nicole: Pre-Conference Introduction

My name is Nicole and I'm a BlogHer Conference newb.  But honestly, who cares.  That just means that I'll be running around like a chicken with my head cut off (and yeah, I'm from Iowa and raised chickens as a kid so I DO know where that phrase comes from).  By no means does it imply that I'll be hiding in a corner.

I write when I can on my personal blog, SAHM Ramblings, about my two girls, Miss M is just starting first grade and Miss K is starting Kindergarten.  Lately though, I've been just trying to keep my head above water with the usual summer chaos and the amazing amount of response I've had on my review blog, SAHM Reviews

During the conference, I plan to meet a lot of amazing women who have blogs that I've followed since before I started blogging.  But my focus is to meet face to face with all the people who I have been working with on SAHM Reviews.

Before I had kids, I was great with names and faces.  Then all the kid-information pushed all the adult-information out of my head and I just spend time singing nursery rhymes.  So expect me to be watching nametags so I can put it all back together.

Looking forward to meeting everyone!  Did I forget anything?  Just ask me when we get there.

Have to be honest...I am shy in big groups.  It's one of the reasons I push myself into stuff like those kids parties cause I'm totally out of my comfort zone.  I get really nervous before I start them.

We should make our own nametags!  That would show off our creativity.  hehe  I have too many supplies to do such a thing, cept for a way to hold it on my shirt..hmmm

I'll be hiding in a corner a lot too.

And hey, we wouldn't have name tags if we weren't supposed to read each other's, right?
