The new year is here, and for many of us that means that it's time to reflect on ways to start fresh and finally get those house/family/health/money issues under control. Never fear, there's probably an app for that these days, and that's what we want to explore in this week's poll.
We are looking for you to write in (either in the "other" box or as a comment) the kinds of tools you use to help you stay inspired and motivated to achieve goals. Do you have a favorite website or tech tool that helps you save money or track your activities? Wouldn't you just love to find an app for your mobile device to help you track your kid's homework?
I'll start by saying that my YMCA exercise program has an awesome online tool called FitLinx, which helps track usage of aerobic and weight training equipment for participants. Once a month, I get an email telling me some inspirational nugget like, "You have lifted the equivalent of 23 elephants so far."
What kinds of tools would you like to see in the new year to keep you on track? Please be sure to write in the ones you are using already. And Happy New Year, everybody!
