"Meat n' potatoes" meets "Istanbul!"
This is a great, hearty dish that the kids love. Mash up the potatoes before serving if your kid likes mashed potatoes better than the cut fries style. This is naturally gluten-free, casein-free (GFCF), soy-free (GFCFSF), corn free, and egg free! Afiyet Olsun!
1/4 lb. ground beef
5-6 medium-sized brown potatoes, chopped into large chunks
1 onion, chopped
1/2 of a 6-oz. can of tomato paste
Sautee onions in olive oil in a large soup-type pot. Add ground beef and brown. Add tomato paste. Add potatoes. Add water to be about 1-inch above the level of the potatoes. Add salt to taste. Cook on medium for about 45 minutes or until the potatoes are soft.
