Gift Ideas for Your Special Valentine

Finding the perfect Valentine token of your affections can be daunting for many people. If the recipient is a health or exercise nut, buying chocolates may not seem like a good choice.  If funds are tight, spending $50-id="mce_marker"00 on flowers may not be practical.  Many people feel that the pressure of finding that perfect gift, takes away from the ‘Amore’ of the holiday.  Here are some ideas that may help:

-A camera to capture your memories together.  The Nikon Coolpix S800C retails around $350, but lets you download pictures to social media with an app.   There are a lot cheaper choices available.  If funds are super tight, a throw away camera could be a funny, inexpensive choice.

-Noise-cancelling headphones are a great choice for travelers. The range in price can go from $60 for Audio-Technica ATH-ANC27 to $500.  If your present is for a youngster, a nice pair of ear buds always comes in handy.

-Car Wash Coupons- who doesn’t love getting their car washed?

-Kindle Readers can be purchased for id="mce_marker"20 and provide hours of entertainment.

-Amazon Gift Card

-Wireless Speakers for Cell Phones or I-Pods- These range in price from $200- $500 and make taking your tunes on the run a snap.

-Massage gift Certificate

-Homemade gifts- Hokey, but this is what I prefer.  The time taken in the making of a homemade gift means more to me than a store bought present.

-Certificate for a Homemade Meal

-No-Skid Headbands- Owl Be Sweatin headbands have adjustable closures and come in many different patterns.

-Exercise DVDs- these can cost anywhere from id="mce_marker"5 to id="mce_marker"50. Introduce them to a variety like kick-boxing, or Pure Barre that they may have never tried, or stick with Yoga to help them get their zen on.

-Certificate for Computer Help-if you are computer savvy you could offer to help someone who isn’t with I-Tunes, cell-phone set up or computer help.  This would be huge for someone like me.

The important part of finding an appreciated Valentine gift is to find one that you can afford, the recipient finds engaging and you don’t get stressed about.

I appreciate all the support that you all have shown to PaulasHealthyLiving here on the website, on FacebookPinterest, Stumble Upon, Spark and Twitter.  It’s been an amazing, enlightening experience and a great ‘present’ for me.
