Give the BlogHer Posts You Love a Little Extra Sparkle

You know how sometimes you read a post and you really want to comment, but you just don't have time? And then there are other posts that you really enjoyed reading and you'd like to say so -- but you aren't sure what to say in the comment box? You can Tweet the posts you like or you can share them to your Facebook wall. But sometimes you just want to do something else ...

That's why we've introduced Sparkle. When you read a blog post, a Chatter post, a discussion or a slide you like on BlogHer.com, you can click the Sparkle icon and tell the author (and the rest of the BlogHer community) that you liked what you read. If you change your mind and want to un-Sparkle, just click the icon again.

The Most Popular Sparkles box on the right side of the page is a quick way for you to find writing, on BlogHer.com, that others in the community really liked.

Sparkling is easy -- and a little bit addictive. Once I started sparkling, I remembered another post that I wanted to sparkle and then another ... and another ... and another ... Start sparkling your favorites right now. I can't wait to see which ones you liked.

I think the idea of sparkle is genius!!!! I have had way too many moments where I wish I had been able to sparkle. But again Im a sucker for anything to deal with anything that glitters, shines, or just anything FABULOUS.

We are fans of sparklecorn. But some of us can't say sparkle without thinking of Sparkley Disco Ball Edward, from Twilight.

It's all good, whatever you think of. Just spread the sparkle! :-)

Love this, because I am one of those people who always wants to comment but fear I don't have time to express my thoughts succinctly and so...sparkle is perfect.

But...I cannot say sparkle without my brain following up with corn.

I'd like to add that I just realized some people may not see the sparkle icon at the bottom of posts until they clear their browser caches! So if you're looking for the little pointy sparkle icon, and don't see it, clear your browser cache. 8-)

Also, clicking the word works to sparkle something. Clicking the icon won't do it!
