Can't go to Chicago? Didn't get a ticket? Want to say HI to all your blog buddies from your couch? BlogHer has come up with a way for YOU to get at least PART of you to BlogHer '09.
Hey all, it’s Jory from BlogHer. Some of you may have seen my mug in webisodes of BlogHer’s new show, sponsored by Trop 50 (by Tropicana), TheJuice; now YOU can star in a community-generated episode that we will be showing at BlogHer ’09 and featured on BlogHer.com the following week.
There are two ways to take part in this special episode:
* Through a text blog post. If you decide to provide a blog post submission, you can leave us the link here in our forum post on TheJuice, or you can simply leave a tip here with a link to your blog, so that we can credit you in the episode.
* Through a video blog post. If you decide to provide a video submission, you can upload it to your blog or to YouTube and leave us the link here in our forum post on TheJuice, or you can simply upload your video here at our video upload page, where we will find it.
TheJuice extracts tips from our community around anything that a bunch of tech-addicted, attention-deficit-disordered types like us experience in our daily lives. Since this episode will be shown front and center at our annual love-in, we thought it would be fun to feature a video of us offering up words of wisdom about how we stay connected to our blog buddies and people in our analog world—you know, spouses, children, mothers, employers and all that—while navigating our obsession with being online. Need I say keep it clean?
In your video, please be sure to mention your name (the one you want everyone at the conference and watching the show to know you by) and your blog name. We will include your blog URL in the video, so anNUNciate please!
Even if we can't run everything we get in this episode, we will showcase all that we got here on BlogHer.com in our archive and in a round-up.
And note the deadline: Friday, June 26. Sorry, but we can't accept video after that, as we've got a conference to run!
Hope to see you—literally!
