Give Your Summer Style a Boost With Coral

Do you ever feel like you have a closet full of clothes, and still nothing to wear? Maybe more accurately it's that you have nothing that you want to wear. What to do if your budget doesn't include a total closet overhaul?
The good news is that you don't need to go out and buy a completely new wardrobe to revamp your style. Adding a few accessories and one or two key items to your closet in one of this summer's hottest colors, coral, will help you feel like you have doubled your outfit choices.
Really, I promise!
Touches of coral give any outfit a light, fresh, and summery feel. Take a look below to see four easy ways to add this color to your every day style.
Coral Bauble Necklace (similar, $19.99)
I absolutely love this necklace. Here I paired it with a navy and white striped cotton dress, giving the otherwise very simple outfit a whole new look.
A bauble necklace like this one can be dressed up or down depending on the outfit, and this coral color seriously goes with almost everything in my closet!
Coral Jeans (PacSun, similar, $49.50)
These jeans are really great. I am a huge fan of bright denim, and the color of these is just spot on for this season. These jeans can be paired with so much.
Here I have on a simple white blouse, but they also look great with navy, mint, yellow, black, gray, patterns, ANYTHING! Any excuse to rock a bold pair of denim and I'm there!
Printed Coral Scarf (Target, similar, $14.99)
I've had this gray dress for years, but adding the fun pattern (flamingos!) and bright bold color of the scarf makes this outfit much more playful, and breathes life again into a simple knit dress.
Last but definitely not least, coral nails!
Below is an ombre manicure that I created using various shades of coral. I love doing ombre manicures, and they are so easy to create.
You start with a dark shade on your thumb (not pictured) and use a lighter, different shade on each nail, with the lightest being on the pinky finger.
Now that you're on the hunt for a little bit of coral to spice up your wardrobe, I suggest getting started with versatile statement pieces, like a bold necklace or a scarf, that you can pair with multiple outfits.
Target is usually a great place to find inexpensive yet really nice pieces. If you have a Charming Charlie near you, that is my favorite spot for cool jewelry and accessories.
Be sure to let me know how you have revamped your summer style with coral!
