Winter is here, and it's time to bust out the gloves and hats and scarves. But while you're keeping warm, there's no reason you can't also look great, right?
Should you match your gloves to your coat, or your handbag? Neither! Think of your hat and gloves as an accessory, and use them in the same way you would use a necklace or earrings or scarf -- to add a dash of color and texture to your outfit. If you've opted for one of this season's bright coats, keep your hands toasty with neutral gloves, though, to balance the bold coat. A pink coat looks great with a black hat and gloves, for example. If your coat is a classic neutral, then spice it up with bright add ons -- a brown coat is great with blue gloves, for example, and camel is the perfect background for pretty much anything.
I'm not a big fan of matching gloves and handbags -- mix it up! Just like you would with your bag and shoes.
Gloves are fun, but they're also good for you. Wearing gloves in cold winter weather will protect your hands from chapping, and help your manicure last longer.
