In just a few days, food BlogHers from all over the world will be descending on San Francisco for the first annual BlogHer Food Conference. Held at the St. Regis hotel, the conference will feature three tracks: Visual, Vocational, and Values, and a veritable Who's-Who of food bloggers will be leading the sessions.
Having lived in San Francisco off and on for almost 10 years (I'm now just south of San Francisco in Silicon Valley), I think I have a unique perspective on places to eat and drink that may not be on everyone else's list. For the past week, I've been at work on a food guide that will take interested BlogHer Foodies to places that won't be on everyone else's list.
I tried to think about the things that visitors to our beautiful city would want to see and where they'd want to eat, and then I thought about what people might miss. Yes, everyone should check out the Ferry Building and perhaps have pizza at Delfina or A16, but there is so much more to experience if you get away from the uber-popular places, and if you plan to snack your way around town instead of eating 2 or 3 "destination meals." There is too much good food in San Francisco to limit it to lunch and dinner.
So far there are three parts to the series each containing around 10 "easy-to-digest" suggestions. The fourth installment (my favorite restaurants) will go up tonight on CityMama, but in the mean time, please check out the first three guides:
Thanks for checking out my guides and if you have favorites that BlogHer Foodies should not miss, be sure to add them in the comments.
See you Saturday at BlogHer Food!
