Going Gaga Over the New Series “THE FINDER”

From the first time we saw the cast of “The Finder” debut on one of our favorite shows, “Bones,” we just knew we would be seeing them on their own series soon. And indeed we have. And now that we’ve started watching season one, weekly episodes, we just can’t get enough of them!

The actors have been well cast; they have believable characters, full of energy and great chemistry, and, well, I can’t help falling in-love with them. And I just can’t wait for the next episode to air; and that is just how addictive the show has become.

Walter Sherman, played by Geoff Stults, the title character, is super mellow and very quirky, and absolutely gorgeous and lovable. The Deputy Marshal, Isabel Zambada, played by Mercedes Mashöhn, Walter’s love interest, is sexy and beautiful and believably tough when necessary. And then there’s Leo Knox, played by none other than Michael Clarke Duncan (I first got a glimpse of this massive man on “The Green Mile” and have loved him ever since), now HE is intimidating, while at the same time exuding the gentleness of a cuddly teddy bear.

Walter Sherman, a former Army MP, who encountered an explosive in Iraq, leaving him brain damaged, is a man who can now find anything. Before the accident in Iraq, he already had a gift at finding people and things. But after the accident his brain worked even better. He became excellent at finding whatever and whoever he went in search of. But once he takes on a job he must see it through!

Walter, with his “Finder Power”, handles the cases—doing all the searching—while Leo (Michael Clarke Duncan), the obvious muscle, and a very sharp lawyer, handles the finances and all other arrangements needed.

If you are a fan of Bones, the wonderful interaction between these characters will get you hooked too!

SunbonnetSmart.com My only problem with shows like Bones and House have been the occasional blood and guts. So I can't sit to watch these show while I am eating. I am a very squeamish individual. lol!

I saw an episode as well and enjoyed it. And the other day I saw a show called End Game that I also rather enjoyed. My husband and I haven't been watching any computer recently, but maybe I'll suggest The Finder tonight.

HomeRearedChef 1666 pts

edavis It is really a well put-together show. If and when you do see it, let me know what you think.

isthisthemiddle 1094 pts

I only saw the last few minutes of it, but it looks good. I like the cast. We'll have to check out a full episode. Thanks for the review!

HomeRearedChef 1666 pts

isthisthemiddle Always glad to have been of good service, Amiga querida. :) But seriously, give the next episode a shot, I think you may like it.

BIG hugs,

Seen it!

And I like it!

The cast is terrific together. Great chemistry between everyone.

It adds to the entertainment level that every one of the four main characters has something very peculiar about them. And of course Walter is the most peculiar of them all so compared to him they are kind of normal.

HomeRearedChef 1666 pts

souschef Oh, I am so glad someone else has seen the show. And my hubby and I are HUGE fans of Bones, and precisely just why...because of how great they work together. Their friendship is very believable! :)

I have not seen this and might just have to check it out ;)

HomeRearedChef 1666 pts

victorias_view OH, and the best thing about the show, so far, is the chemistry between the actors. I can't wait for this week's episode.
