Golden Globes 2011 Fashion Recap
By Maegan Tintari on January 17, 2011
While it's not the most celebrated of the award shows, The Golden Globes are usually my absolute favorite to watch, and The 68th Annual Golden Globes were nothing short of entertaining, to say the least. Ricky Gervais is an amazing host and even though he pokes fun at almost everyone, they all seem to know that he's joking when they get a chance, jab him right back. Blame it on the booze, the amazing food, the intimate table seating and the fact that the celebs get to share a table with their cast & crew mates, that makes for a more relaxing & easy going experience for everyone, not to mention the timely fashion in which they finish ... but let's get to what we really watch award shows for, shall we: TO SEE WHAT THEY'RE WEARING of course!
As a sea of floor-length gowns & tight updos shimmied across the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton in sunny LA on Sunday, it was quite apparent that the "stars" pulled out all the stops which made for quite a glamorous shindig. Any bit of leg I did see was only a flash from a high slit rather than a mini dress. So, to "get on with the show" so to speak below are the stand-out fashion trends of The 68th Annual Golden Globes.
