Anyone out here in all blogdom that has had some experience with the dating sites available online? Would like to know what their success rates look like. Do any of them report on this?
I have been asking around about the regular (sort of old fashioned) dating service that will work with you, and will try to help you find someone to select, someone that actually fits your standards. I have found that Great Expectation's record for success has been quite good. Their members are serious minded, and have grown tired of the online dating scene...and the retched bar scene. You would be surprised at some of the comments out there about some "real losers" that are looking for someone "unsuspecting" to latch on to.
Things are tough in the world right now, but could be a lot tougher if you don't have the right kind of relationship. It could be a serious drain emotionally and sometimes financially... if you have the wrong person as a mate. I don't think anyone should settle for the "crumbs" in life. I did it myself more than once. I guess you learn the hard way.
