Grandma's Fudge Pie
So.. I have to admit something ...I ate half of this pie...
..in one day..
I couldn't help it! It's just soooo tasty!
...annnnnd I was snowed in.
See... it was so windy and snowy! ...check out the snow drifts on our porch!
What did you say Daisy? ..You love fudge pie too?
I made this pie on Sunday and I used Grandma Joyce's recipe from the family cookbook. I made mine using gluten-free flour, but it was a one to one flour mix, so this recipe can easily be made with regular flour. It was my first time using the one-to-one gluten-free flour mixes and it turned out so well!
I absolutely love using recipes out of the family cookbook. I remember Grandma Joyce making this fudge pie for us when we were little!
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1 c. sugar

- 1/2 c. flour (if making gluten-free, use a one-to one blend like Domata)

- 1 tsp vanilla
- nuts (optional)
- Melt the butter, add eggs and sugar, then dry ingredients and vanilla. Add nuts after everything is blended.
- Bake in a greased and floured pie pan.
- Bake at 325 F for 35 minutes.
