So.. I have to admit something ...I ate half of this pie... myself.. one day..

I couldn't help it! It's just soooo tasty!

...annnnnd I was snowed in.

What? I love fudge pie!


I made this pie on Sunday and I used Grandma Joyce's recipe from the family cookbook.  I made mine using gluten-free flour, but it was a one to one flour mix, so this recipe can easily be made with regular flour.  It was my first time using the one-to-one gluten-free flour mixes and it turned out so well!

I absolutely love using recipes out of the family cookbook.  I remember Grandma Joyce making this fudge pie for us when we were little!

Grandma's Fudge Pie
Recipe Type: Dessert

Total time: 45 mins
Serves: 6
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 T. cocoa
  • 1/2 c. flour (if making gluten-free, use a one-to one blend like Domata)
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • nuts (optional)
  1. Melt the butter, add eggs and sugar, then dry ingredients and vanilla. Add nuts after everything is blended.
  2. Bake in a greased and floured pie pan.
  3. Bake at 325 F for 35 minutes.
  4. Enjoy!
